The word Kenosis is derived from the Bible passage Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation (TO EMPTY), and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. We believe that as we come together, empty ourselves (KENOSIS) and humble ourselves in obedience to Christ and the vision that He has placed on our hearts that we will be able to watch and be apart of the EFFECT that will take place as God’s kingdom is increased and the communities are touched because of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
